Travis Lee "Ben" Carr

Travis Lee Carr also known as “Ben” of Allen, Texas passed away November 7, 2021 at the age of 56.  He was born on June 1, 1965 to Roy Thomas Carr and Hazel (Kelly) Carr in Dallas, Texas.  Travis was a 1985 graduate of Princeton High School in Princeton, Texas.  He married Chandra Binion on July 22, 2020 in McKinney.  Travis worked for HB Fuller Co. in Mesquite, Texas for 28 years.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved his guns.  Travis was also a member of the fraternal order of Freemasons.  He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife, Chandra Carr of Allen, Texas; daughter, Travisha Morgan and husband, Austin; son, Travis Carr, Jr. and wife, Shawanna; daughter, Allysha Ramon; son, Courtney White, all of Dallas, Texas; son, Rico Hudspeth of Houston, Texas; stepsons, Zachary Fagan of McKinney, Texas and Tyler Binion and wife, Dominique of Lewisville, Texas; eight grandchildren; brother, Roy Carr and Orlene Ferrell of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Pamela Carr, Linda Brown and husband, James, and Denise Ingram, all of Dallas, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Travis was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dorothy Hall and Glady Carr; niece, Deborah Hall; nephew, Curtis Autrey.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 12, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
