IN LOVING MEMORY

Travis Leighton

Aug 15 1988 - Oct 28 2022

Travis Leighton, 34, of The Colony, TX, died peacefully on Friday, October 28th surrounded by family and love. He is survived by his fiancé Sereena Quila with son Liam; daughter Jaicee Leighton; parents Stacy & Mark James and Rob Leighton & Dan Dillon; siblings Marly, Hannah and Nathan; grandparents Dona Wall, Jerry & Brenda Leighton, Robin Duncan, Ralph & Penny James, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; preceded in death by his grandfathers Glenn Wall and Al Duncan. Travis loved his big extended family, and made it a point to spread that love unabashedly and widely. He was a special partner, dad, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

On Wednesday night, his mother dreamed of a team of wild horses with one paint horse running freely, and his father dreamed of a pod of Orcas swimming. We trust he’s let Sereena, Liam, and his family know that he is now free and in the care of the God he loved so well. His faith carried him and provided the strength and comfort that we all seek as we journey through this world. “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Rev. 21:4

We love you, Travis. We hope the fish are biting up there.
