Tracey Renea Spencer was born on Mother’s Day, May 13, 1976 in Sherman, Texas to Troyce Allen Spencer and Geneva Helen Cline Spencer. She passed away on October 25, 2023 in McKinney, Texas.
She lived a majority of her life in Whitewright where she attended school.
As a child she loved watching her daddy race at the dirt track. She was the baby of the "5 angels" number 22 car her daddy drove. She was most definitely a daddy's girl and her daddy thought the world of her. In school everyone loved her and she was friends with anyone that would let her be. She loved painting and crafting and could make any house a home.
She was just as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside. She was fun, outgoing and cared about her family and friends immensely. Her greatest joy was her family. To know Tracey was to love her and when she loved you she made sure you knew it. She also made sure that you knew exactly how she felt. She was blunt, straight forward and honest.
Tracey fought her demons for a majority of her life, but through her fight her family was always there and never stopped loving her. She left this world entirely too soon, but she will never be forgotten.
Tracey is survived by her daughter, Miranda Simpson and husband Jared of Hugo, Oklahoma; son, Trey Spencer of Whitewright; mother, Geneva Helen Spencer of Whitewright; sisters, Polly Taylor and husband Teddy of Troup, Stephanie Spencer and Loretta Spencer Guffee both of Whitewright; and an abundance of beautiful grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Troyce Spencer; and sister, Helen Garrett.
