Thomas William Andrews, age 60, of Allen, Texas. passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Jane Andrews, and brother Michael Andrews. Tom is survived by his wife and love of his life, Judith Andrews; children, son Brandon, daughter Katy, stepson Jeremy, and stepdaughter Ashley; grandchildren, Macy, Max, Mercy, Mila, Ellie and Amelia. He is also survived by siblings, Stephen, James, Paula and Barbara; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Patricia Tate.
Tom was born on February 7, 1964, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a man of God and served all faithfully. Tom was married to Judy for 28 years. He loved his family completely and they were most important to him. Tom enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, golfing, volunteering with prison ministry, and he was a huge Boston sports fan.
For the past twenty-one years Tom worked at Sam Pack Five Star Ford in Lewisville, Texas, where he passionately led the finance department to national recognition. He dedicated his time to forming lasting relationships with staff and customers alike. He was keen on mentoring future leaders in the car industry and was an inspiration to many.
Tom was a light in this world, he brightened every room he walked into with his smile and his contagious laugh. Tom was a friend to all and impacted many lives with his gentle heart, generosity, and zest for life.
A remembrance gathering with memorial service will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, 75013. Tom’s family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 o'clock with the Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 p.m.
