IN LOVING MEMORY

Todd Mitchell LeJeune

Jan 16 1953 - Jul 22 2026

Todd Mitchell LeJeune (73) of McKinney, Texas, went home to be with the Lord after a long battle with COPD, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, hard work and a deep appreciation for God's creations.

Todd was born on January 16, 1953, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Mitchell Ellis and Velma LeJeune. He shared a special bond with his big sister, Doris, who was both his protector and helper, and the two loved each other deeply.

In 1982, Todd married the love of his life, Vivian. Together they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter and unwavering commitment. Todd always said that Vivian kept him in line and together they exemplified the true meaning of partnership and devotion.

Todd was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family. He began his career working in a shipyard before answering the call to serve his community as a firefighter for the City of Port Arthur. Later, he pursued a career in electronics, working as an electronic technician for Motorola and then Texas Instruments, where he dedicated the final 20 years of his career.

When he wasn't working, Todd could almost always be found outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing or planning his next adventure, he found peace and joy in nature. He had a lifelong love of the outdoors and was happiest when sharing those experiences with his family. He also had a deep passion for music, especially country and loved turning it up while driving the back roads, taking in the scenery and appreciating life's simple pleasures. His dogs held a special place in his heart and were faithful companions on many of his adventures.

Above all else, Todd loved God and his family. He treasured every moment spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. Some of his greatest joys came from passing down his love of hunting, fishing, the outdoors and cheering on his favorite teams: the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, Houston Rockets and Texas Longhorns. Those moments created memories that will live on for generations.

Though his family grieves his loss, they find comfort in knowing that his suffering has ended and that he is now whole and at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior. Todd's kindness, strength, quiet wisdom and unwavering love for his family will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.

Todd is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Vivian LeJeune of McKinney, Texas; daughters Laurie (Chad) Odle of Orange, Texas and Krystal (Matthew) Garner of Wylie, Texas; son Ryan (Taylor) LeJeune of Anna, Texas; grandchildren Nathan (Kristina) Odle, Noah Odle, Madelyn Garner, Wyatt Garner, and Walker LeJeune; great-grandson Elliott Odle; sister Doris (Tex) Corley of Boerne, Texas; and his in-laws, Vicki (Dennis) Moore and Victor (Jeri) Suire. Nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell Ellis and Velma LeJeune.
