Todd Loyd Plummer, 59, of Garland, Texas, passed away on September 2, 2026. He was born on December 29, 1966, in Dallas, Texas, to Jerry Loyd Plummer and Saundra Ann Hayman.
Todd was a proud veteran of the United States Army, a part of his life that he carried with great pride. He had a deep appreciation for military history and enjoyed learning about and remembering the history and traditions of the Army. His service was an important part of who he was, and he remained proud of his time in uniform throughout his life.
Todd had many passions and interests that brought him happiness. He loved his Harley and enjoyed the freedom and adventure that came with being out on the road. He loved fishing, spending time outdoors, and simply getting behind the wheel and driving. Music was another great love of his, and he enjoyed the many ways music could bring people together and create lasting memories.
Todd also had a special love for movies. He knew an impressive amount about them and could talk at length about films, actors, and the stories behind them. Watching movies was something he truly enjoyed, and his knowledge and enthusiasm for them were part of what made him uniquely Todd. He also enjoyed playing pool and had an appreciation for cross country.
Above all, Todd will be remembered as a man who had his own passions, interests, and way of seeing the world. He made memories through the things he loved and through the people who shared his life. Those who knew him will remember his love of motorcycles, his pride in his military service, his knowledge of history and movies, and the many conversations, adventures, and moments shared along the way.
Todd is survived by his daughter, Nicolle Ketcham and her husband Chad; his son, Kyle Plummer; his sisters, Mimbi Beck and her husband, David, and Natalie Bayer and her husband, Robert; his nieces, Lily Bayer and Callie Bayer; his stepmother, Roxanne Plummer; his cousin; Holly Hayman and her children; Kennedy, and Grace Hayman, Kyser Vincent Hayman, his aunt, Diane Brown; his longtime best friend, Ramie Mariano; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Loyd Plummer and Saundra Ann Hayman; his wife, Biggie Plummer; and his brother, Kris Plummer.
Todd will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. The memories he created, the people he loved, and the passions that brought him joy will remain a lasting part of his legacy.
