Timothy Joseph Martin passed away on May 19, 2022 in Allen, Texas. He was 59 years old. Timothy was born October 20, 1962 to Joseph Joyner Martin and Marjorie Alice Weir in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was raised in St. Johns, Michigan.

Timothy met his wife Carrie (Sproat) in high school and they moved to Texas together in 1982. After high school, Timothy immediately began working as a carpenter. He became very talented in his craft and loved building wooden furniture and decks for his numerous clients. Tim and his high school sweetheart married in Irving, Texas in 1985. Their daughter Alicia was born and eleven years later Colby was born. Alicia and (Adam) blessed Tim and Carrie with two beautiful granddaughters. Tim’s children and granddaughters brought him so much joy.

Many weekends were spent together at Lake Ray Roberts, hiking, camping and enjoying each other’s company in the great outdoors.

Tim enjoyed helping his daughter Alicia raising her animals at the barn when she was in her FFA program.

Colby will always remember the cheers and support his Dad gave him in his sporting events.

Tim was always able to have a good time. It didn’t matter who was with him or what he was doing. The family always remembered when their Uncle Marty came through town to visit.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Carrie Martin of Allen, Texas; children, Alicia Hall (Adam) of Dallas, Texas and Colby Martin (Morganne Clay) of Addison, Texas; granddaughters, Adreyan and Aaliyah Hall of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Rosie Larkin of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Molly Stewart of Mineola, Florida; and numerous family and friends.

Timothy was preceded in death by his twin brother, Tommy who was deceased at birth; brother, Jimmy; sister, Judy McCue and parents, Joseph and Marjorie Martin.

Tim will always live on in our hearts and cherished memories. We love you!
