Timothy "Tim" Ray Johnson

Timothy “Tim” Ray Johnson of Princeton, Texas passed away September 19, 2018 at the age of 46.  He was born January 25, 1972 to James Arthur Johnson and Janice Rae (Shumake) Johnson in Peoria, Illinois.  Tim grew up in Laverne, Oklahoma and was a 1990 graduate of Laverne High School. He attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University for one year before transferring to Oklahoma State University and received his bachelor degree in Educational Agriculture Sciences. Tim married Brynn Weber on June 20, 2014 in Princeton, Texas. He was an Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor at Princeton High School for the past ten years. Prior to teaching in Princeton, he taught at Lake Worth ISD in Texas, Bokchito ISD in Oklahoma, and Pawnee City ISD in Nebraska. He loved OSU football, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Braves and NASCAR racing.  Tim’s greatest compassion was helping his students with their livestock.  He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Collin County in Princeton, Texas.  

Tim is survived by his wife, Brynn Johnson of Princeton, Texas; children, Morgan Kidd, Keldon Barr, Tabatha Kidd, and Austin Johnson all of Princeton, Texas; sister, Lynn Morris and husband, Scott and their son James of Greenfield, Indiana; dogs, Max, Bailey, and Jesse; and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Janice Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Cowboy Church of Collin County, 2800 FM 3364, Princeton, Texas 75407 with Pastor Wes Brown officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
