Thresa Ann Stewman was born on June 24, 1936 in Tom Bean, Texas to William Wesley Reeves and Mattie Opal Powell Reeves. She passed away on August 31, 2020 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 84 years.

Thresa married Robert “Bobby” Allen Stewman III on July 29, 1967 in Sherman, Texas. She was a member of Trenton Church of Christ.

Just before retiring Thresa worked for The Leonard National Bank. Previously she had worked in Sherman, Texas for Sherman Savings and Loan. She also wrote jingles for KRRV radio and was responsible for putting the spots out on time on the air. She also met the love of her life Bobby while working at KRRV radio.

Not only was she a loving wife, mother and grandmother she was a valued member of her community. Demonstrating her allegiance to her Leonard she was a member of Leonard Preservation League and the Genealogical Society.

She is survived by son, Brian Keith Stewman and wife, Terri of Allen; daughters, Leigh Ann Stidham and husband, Mark of Sherman and Lisa Elaine Hagan, and husband, Dennis of Eastland; grandchildren, Catie Stewman, Aaron and Lucas Stidham, Christen, Britton and Hallie Hagan; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Thresa was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Allen Stewman III and her parents William Wesley Reeves and Mattie Opal Reeves.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Friday, September 4, 2020 at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 701 N Cedar St, Leonard, Texas. Interment will follow at Hall Cemetery, Howe, Texas. A visitation will be held from 12:00PM-2:00PM service time, Friday, September 4, 2020 Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home Chapel.
