Thomas John Tadler, Jr.

Thomas John Tadler, Jr. of Allen, Texas passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 92. He was born on March 29, 1928 to Thomas John Tadler, Sr. and Helen (Puschaver) Tadler in Shinnston, West Virginia. Thomas grew up in West Virginia and graduated from Shinnston High School. He received his bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University. Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Army where he worked as a chemical engineer at a nerve gas plant during the Korean War. He met his future wife, Joyce June Richardson, at the plant where they both worked. Thomas married Joyce on May 28, 1955 in Florence, Alabama. He worked for U.S. Industrial Chemical in Tuscola, Illinois as the general plant manager. Thomas loved watching any kind of sports and in his recent years he loved to run errands with his family. He was well known as the neighborhood dog treater.

Thomas is survived by his children, Thomas Tadler, III and wife, Yolanda of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Karen Moran and husband, Mike of Plano, Texas and Tim Tadler and wife, Karla of Irvine, California; grandchildren, Matthew, Cooper, Olivia, Katie, Emma, Timmy and Trey; and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce June Tadler and his parents, Thomas John Tadler, Sr. and Helen Tadler.

A private, family only funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family especially to my dearest friends Karen & Mike and The Boys . My heart aches for your loss and I know that Papa was ready to leave earth and went very peacefully to join his beloved wife Joyce. They are both in heaven now and watching over all of you and resting in peace . He was very much loved by all those who knew him and it was a privileged to get to know him while alive .
