Thomas Arthur Johnson of Anna, Texas passed away on November 25, 2019 at the age of 62. He was born on April 5, 1957 to John Raymond Johnson and Margaret (McQuistion) Johnson in Jackson, Mississippi. Art spent his early childhood in Jackson before moving to Metairie, Louisiana; where he graduated high school in 1976. He spent his career as a business owner in the water and waste water pump industry. Art married Krista Lynne (Roeder) Johnson in June 2012 in Anna. He loved the outdoors and especially loved street and dirt bikes and mountain biking.
Art is survived by his wife, Krista Johnson of Anna; daughters, Jena Montenegro and her husband, David, Jenai Johnson and her husband, Sid Peavy, and Kaitlyn Bomar; son, Wesley Bomar; ex-wife, Cathy Johnson; father, John Johnson and his wife, Lorraine; brothers, Ray Johnson and his wife, Julie, David Johnson and his wife, Gail, Kirk Johnson and his wife, Donna, and Phil Johnson and his wife, Paula; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Johnson.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
