IN LOVING MEMORY

Thomas Vince Lo

Oct 17 1991 - Jan 27 2023

Thomas V. Lo of Plano, Texas was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 31, after battling cancer. Thomas stayed strong until the end, showing tremendous courage in facing life's challenges with great humility, bravery, and grace.

Thomas was born on October 17, 1991, to Eric Lo and Salina Law in Texas. He graduated from Plano West High School in 2010, earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and obtained a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from UT Dallas. Thomas worked as an optical engineer for Fujitsu USA for 5+ years.

The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Thomas. Pizza and snow crab legs were among his favorite foods. An avid lover of creating impressive Lego structures and Gundam, Thomas also enjoyed playing piano, listening to classical music, and going to concerts. When not working on puzzles or putting together complex 3D models from building kits, he would spend time watching anime, reading manga, playing basketball, watching movies, NBA, and football games, and hanging out with friends. Additionally, Thomas liked to travel internationally with his family to places like China, Taiwan, and Europe, and in the winter months, he liked skiing. Thomas participated in zoom meetings with his closest friends for trivia and book club during the pandemic and loved spending free time with his family.

Thomas is survived by his loving parents, Eric and Salina; brother, Timothy Lo; and other family and friends. Thomas was a gentle soul, and we will always remember him in our hearts.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will be livestreamed at https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/thomas-vince-lo. After the service, the recorded livestream will be available at the same link location.
