Thomas “Tom” Francis Delahunt (age 83) passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 surrounded by family at his home in McKinney, Texas. He was born on November 29, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut, to Thomas Francis Delahunt and Evelyn Elizabeth Raymond. He married Juana Maria Garcia Olivares on February 18, 1975 in Durant, Oklahoma.

Tom and his wife moved to McKinney, Texas from San Antonio, Texas in April 2018 where Tom was a tinker and loved to work with machinery although he spent his life working as a plant manager in the textile and leather manufacturing industry. Among his favorite hobbies were playing with puzzles, going to movies, playing with his “grand-doggies” and as a true Irishman, his favorite meal was meat and potatoes.

Tom leaves behind a loving wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are as follows: Rosary and Memorial Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 starting at 1:00 p.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas. A private procession to temporary Columbarium will follow after the end of mass. Light refreshments will be available afterwards in the parish hall.
