Thomas Ray Tentinger of McKinney Texas, loving husband to Deborah, father to Katie and Krissy and beloved Papa to Addison, Kaitlin, Nathan, Megan and Emily, passed away at his home on September 14, 2023 from prostate cancer.
Tom was the seventh of nine children of Marie and Erwin Tentinger from Remsen Iowa. He graduated from St. Mary’s high school in Remsen and went on to a very successful career at EDS . Tom was always proud to say he worked at EDS. He was a loyal, dedicated hard worker that truly loved what he did.
Tom married the love of his life Deborah Randles on April 2, 2005. Debbie and Tom loved to travel and took many trips with Debbie’s brother Tom and wife Shari. They enjoyed each others company and always found time to play a good game of dominoes.
Tom was the very best Papa, the best job he ever had! He passed on his love of sports to his grandchildren. You could count on Papa to be the loudest sideline coach/cheerleader at every sporting event and dance recital.
Growing up on a farm in Iowa, Tom had a love of tractors, especially John Deere. He loved his tractor collection and once in a while he would even let the grands play with them.
Tom is survived by his wife Deborah; his beautiful daughters, Katherine Marie and husband, Tim Schlottman and Kristina Lee and husband, Brian Humenesky; his adoring grandchildren, Addison Humenesky, Kaitlin Humenesky, Nathan Humenesky, Megan Schlottman and Emily Humenesky; mother-in-law, Jane Randles that loved him like her son; Siblings, Janice Coon (John deceased), Marilyn Sohm (Paul deceased), Jean Pickhinke (deceased) David, Mike Tentinger (Ann), Patrick Tentinger (Fran), Jerry Tentinger (Patricia), Chuck Tentinger (Jo), Mary Welsh (Roger) and many special nieces and nephews.
