Mr. Thomas Edwin Martin, age 47, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 26, 2005, at his home in McKinney, from a short battle with cancer. He was born April 17, 1958, in Roslyn, New York, to James Arthur and Frances Mortell (Burke) Martin and was raised in Detroit and Birmingham, Michigan. On September 2, 2003, he married Charlene Moore in McKinney. Mr. Martin was new car sales manager for North Central Ford. He was a very active member of Alcoholics Anonymous, AMBUCS, the Plano Chamber of Commerce, and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1978 to 1982. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Martin of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Allison Martin, Natalie Martin, and Kylee Clark; sons, Thomas Martin, and Bryce Clark; mother and stepfather, Frances and Peter Kinckerbocker of Florida; sisters, Frances Clark and husband, Mike of Texas, Carolyn Batchelor and husband, Stephen of Michigan, and Jeanne Blasciuc and husband, Chris of Michigan; brothers, James Martin, Jr. of Texas, and William Martin and wife, Dianne of Michigan; and several nieces, nephews and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, James Arthur Martin, and his son, John Randall Martin. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at 1:00 P.M. at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 P.M., Thursday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
