Therese Antoinette Michalski passed away on March 2, 2024 in Fairview, Texas at the age of 94. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 13, 1929 to Anton Vincent Wagner and Julia Rose Justine Rzonca.
Therese married the love of her life Raymond Frank Michalski at Annunciation Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois on January 11, 1947 and has been a member of St. Jude Catholic Church since moving to Texas in 2006.
Therese loved roses, the color pink, enjoyed displaying family pictures, sending greeting cards, family vacations, cruising, reading, bowling, playing pinochle, scrabble, baking treats for family and friends, and hosting guests at her home. Prior to living in Texas, Las Vegas was home for eighteen years. While there, she and her husband, Ray, welcomed guests to their home practically every week.
Therese is survived by her two sons: David Alan Michalski and wife Danielle of Fairview, Texas; Raymond Anthony Michalski and wife Susan of Streamwood, Illinois; grandchildren, Dawn Marie and Sean Pritchett of Austin, Texas; Daniel Raymond Michalski and Tricia Catalino of Las Vegas, Nevada; Deborah Michele and William Walker of Austin, Texas; Rachel Lynn and Phillip Mottaz of Sun Valley, California; Matthew Martin Michalski and Stacy of Elgin, Illinois; Sharon Therese and Christopher Serowski of Hanover Park, Illinois; great grandchildren, Ethan David Walker, Holden Gray Walker, Luke Brayden Pritchett, Sarah Brooke Pritchett, and Henry Ray Mottaz; sister, Bernadine Savage of Streamwood, Illinois and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death and welcomed home to heaven by her parents, Anton and Julia Wagner; husband, Raymond Frank Michalski; daughter, Sharon Therese Michalski; sisters, Patricia Kostuj, Marceline Seeger, Rita Urbaniak; and brothers Thomas Wagner and Anton Wagner III.
A visitation will be held at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 North Milwaukee Avenue, in Niles, Illinois on Friday, March 22nd, from 4:00pm-8:00pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7211 W. Talcott Avenue, Chicago on Saturday, March 23rd, time pending. Entombment will take place at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery/Mausoleum, 6800 N. Milwaukee Avenue, in Niles, Illinois, immediately following the Mass.
