Theresa "Tree" Lynn (Bollig) Basden, age 51, from Frisco, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2017.  She was born on October 6, 1966, in Plainville, Kansas, to Cecil and Juanita (Young) Bollig.  Tree married Steven Wayne Basden on November 11, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was a supervisor in the printing business.

Tree is survived by her loving husband, Steven Wayne Basden; her children, Douglas W. Volkman Jr. of Frisco, Texas, and Carolyn M. Volkman of The Colony, Texas; her mother, Juanita Bollig of Garland, Texas; her sisters, Paula Reagan and her husband, Tommy, of Garland, Texas, and Lori Mitchell and her husband, Tim, of Wichita Falls, Texas; brothers, Frank Bollig of Seagoville, Texas, Gary Bollig and his wife, Denise, of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Andrew Bollig and his wife, Emily, of Duncan, Oklahoma; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Tree was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Bollig.

She greeted every day with a smile and indomitable spirit.  She lived for her family and never thought twice to lend a helping hand.  She was the strongest woman and always made sure her kids were taken care of.  Her love was like no other in this world and unconditional.  Later in life, she found her soulmate and never took one day for granted.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening, November 27, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Frisco, Texas.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Little Elm Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
