IN LOVING MEMORY

Terrill Eugene Scott

Mar 16 1970 - Jan 25 2022

Terrill Eugene Scott of McKinney, Texas passed away January 25, 2022, at the age of 51.

He was born on March 16, 1970, to Tina Scott in Delaware, Ohio. He attended West Anchorage High school and graduated from Save in 1989. He played basketball all over Anchorage in summer leagues, as well as in high school, where he met the love of his life.

Amongst his many memorable moments in life, marrying the love of his life “his dream girl” Dawn Loeb is one of his most treasured. After 20 amazing years they built a life and legacy of love through their 3 children, Bryson, Bryne’e, and Brylin who miss him dearly.

Terrill was hardworking and dedicated. He worked at Coca-Cola in Anchorage, Alaska and upon his death he worked as a lineman electrician apprentice at Primoris T&D for four years in Texas.

From Ohio, to Alaska, then to Texas, Terrill leaves many memories of joy and good times with friends     (Hi -C crew, Coca Cola, Primoris T&D, church family). His love and enjoyment of life was undeniable. He always had a smile on his face and was the life of any party! His personality was larger than life, his smile lit up a room, and his laugh was uniquely infectious (hard with a snort). He loved to laugh, joke, or tell a playful diss or story that could make your sides hurt. He could also shake up a room by stomping and saying, “HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!” Terrill was an avid sports fan and if you knew him, you knew he had a love-hate relationship with the Cowboys and his LA Lakers. He loved them, but hated losing! He would express it without hesitation! This kind of loyalty should be emulated.

In everything he did and everywhere he went, he made an impact. Whether it was serving the Lord as an Ordained Elder or moments with family and friends, he left an impression. He served and loved everyone wholeheartedly!

Terrill, loving husband, father, brother, and friend was preceded in death by his mother, Tina Lupina Scott and leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dawn Scott; children, Bryson Dowdell, Bryne’e Scott, and Brylin Scott; siblings, LaFeyette Scott-Pierre, Tonya Hollins, Warren House, Fanesse Scott, Sly Hollins, Ardell Seawood, and Estina Scott; father-in-law, Marcel Washington; mother-in-law, Gwendolyn Washington; sister-in-law, Azia Washington; brothers-in-law, Jamar Washington and Norris Loeb; devoted dog pal, Brynx Scott; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other loving family, and friends.
