November 19, 1956 - May 1, 2020

Teresa Faye Bagby McCarty, born on November 19, 1956 passed away on the morning of May 1, 2020 after battling leiomyosarcoma cancer.  She passed in her home in Greenville, Texas surrounded by her children.  Teresa was known to many as Weeza, TP, Nanny and Mom. She is preceded in death by her parents, TV and Ruth Bagby, her brother Rodger Bagby, her step-son David McCarty and her husband Marvin McCarty.  She is survived by her children, Angie Markham, David and Julie Posey, Jesse and Lacy Posey.  Her children were all  favorites and she was a one of a kind and most amazing mom.  Her beloved grandchildren, Justin and Stefanie Posey, Cameron Wiser, Connor Wiser, Micah Posey, Jessica Grace Posey, Jaxon Posey and her great-grand daughters Izabellah “Bella” Posey and soon to be born, Ms. Paislee. She is an unforgettable and wonderful Nanny to these grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Virginia Long, Shirley King, Linda Ary, Liz Bennett and Janet Williams.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews. There are simply no words to describe the love she had for her family and the love her family has for her. She will be dearly missed forever.
