Teresa Deann McPeek passed away March 6, 2024 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 63. She was born October 31, 1960 in McKinney, Texas to Donald Shelley Jones and Mattie Elizabeth (Dean) Jones. Teresa married the love of her life Dwayne McPeek on April 17, 1987 in McKinney, Texas.
She grew up in Collin County and graduated from Celina High School. Following high school Teresa worked for Dr. John White as an Administrative Assistant. She loved antiquing, road trips, knitting and crafts, most of all, Teresa loved spending time with her family, whom she cherished greatly.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Dwayne McPeek of Yantis, Texas; daughters, Leslie Dawn Miers of San Antonio, Texas and Lindsey Michelle Pierce and husband, Randy of Van Alstyne, Texas; grandchildren, Alyson Michelle Henson, Alyssa Marie Wilson, and Tyler Templehill Wooters; great grandchildren, Landon and AnsLee; sister, Julie Kaye Jones of Van Alstyne, Texas; brother, Joel Neil and wife, Christy of Temple, Texas; several nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Jones and mother, Liz Thompson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2024 at Whitaker Cemetery, 2106 McConnell Road, Gunter, Texas 75058.
