Mrs. Tenie Ann Boren, age 74, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 4, 2008, in McKinney. She was born July 28, 1934, in Lewisville, Texas to Clarence L. and Leao M. (McDaniel) Smith. On June 18, 1955, she married Jim Boren in Good Hope, Texas. Mrs. Boren was a secretary for the Collin County Juvenile Probation Office in McKinney. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Jim Boren of McKinney; sister, Aline Coker and husband, Frank of Yantis, Texas; nephew, Christopher Coker of Detroit, Michigan; and several other nieces, nephews and loving relatives. Her parents and son, David Earl Boren preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2008, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Jerry Weems and Dr. Woody Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
