Taylor James Fetrow

May 4, 1994 - June 7, 2019

Taylor James Fetrow of McKinney, Texas passed away June 7, 2019 at the age of 25.  He was born on May 4, 1994 to Christopher M. Fetrow and Stephanie (Kretzer) Fetrow at Landstuhl Army Base, Germany.  Taylor was an avid sports fan.  Taylor played basketball and baseball with the McKinney Cubs. His love for sports led to the chance to be the Manager for his High School Football and Basketball teams. He also served on the Student Council, FCA and was chosen as Mr. MHS (McKinney High School) his senior year of high school. Taylor was a youth leader in church. Taylor was always smiling and greeted everyone with the most recent update of his favorite sports team followed by asking how their favorite team was doing.  His love for God was the only thing that outpaced his love for sports. He wanted to make sure everyone knew that he was saved and wanted to make sure that everyone had a chance to hear about Jesus and salvation. His family was the most important possession to him. He loved cheering on his sisters and taking pictures with them.

Taylor is survived by his parents, Chris and Stephanie Fetrow; sisters, Ashley Fetrow, Caitlin Fetrow, Courtney Fetrow, all of McKinney, Texas; and grandmother, Janice Kretzer of Denison, Texas.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 1615 West Louisiana Street, McKinney, Texas 75069.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 255 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
