IN LOVING MEMORY

Sylvia Cloutier Clark

May 19 1939 - Jan 24 2021

Sylvia Cloutier Clark, age 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep January 24, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with stage 4 breast cancer. She fought valiantly. Sylvia was born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1939 to parents, Theresa Andries Cloutier and Charles Gordon Cloutier (both deceased). She was a beauty inside and out. She was kind, generous, compassionate and always there to support others with a listening ear, kind word, or welcoming smile. Sylvia was a loving comforter, thoughtful person, and was fearless when tackling issues that were important to her. She was small but mighty and fiercely looked after those she loved. Sylvia adored her family, especially her grandsons, Brody and Landon, who brought her immense joy. She was the most wonderful, caring and dedicated wife to Neal for their 53 years of marriage, an extraordinary mother to Kelly and adoring Mimi to Brody and Landon. Some of her favorite times and happiest memories were spending time with extended family at yearly beach trips in Gulf Shores. Sylvia valued quality time with friends and family above all else. She loved a good laugh, a good book, and a good hair day. She enjoyed being a wonderful hostess, attending weekly Mass, and being a guardian, and confidant for her family and friends. Sylvia was a devout Catholic and her faith brought her much serenity and peace. She will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Sylvia will be greatly missed by her family that loved her dearly including her husband, Neal G. Clark; daughter, Kelly Clark Radebaugh; son-in-law, Chad Allen Radebaugh; grandsons, Brody and Landon Radebaugh; sisters, Marilyn Cloutier Lelong, Sara Cloutier Looney and her husband, Mike Looney; as well as a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Major Charles Gordon Cloutier, Ret. USAF; brother-in-law, Michael Lelong; and great nephews, Michael Montoya, George Cloutier, and Douglas Cloutier.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to cuttingedgepediatrictherapy.com or nofone.org.
