Sylvia Marie Inboden, a devoted homemaker and beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on December 6, 2023, in McKinney, Texas, at the age of 81. She was born on September 4, 1942, to Robert E. Bridges and Augusta M. Estenfelder in Covington, Kentucky.
Sylvia was united in marriage to the love of her life, the late Larry Inboden, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and happiness. As a devoted homemaker, Sylvia's family was her utmost priority, and she was happiest in their presence, especially when it came to spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her dedication to her family, Sylvia had a passion for creating wreaths and candy. In her spare time, Sylvia worked for Callaway's Nursery for three years, and her love for nature was evident in the time she spent there. She also had a passion for her own garden where she created a beautiful oasis for all to enjoy.
Sylvia's giving spirit extended beyond her personal life as she actively volunteered, particularly in political endeavors. She believed in the power of advocacy and actively supported causes she held dear. Sylvia was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers. She followed their games passionately and celebrated their victories. Sylvia's warm smile, loving-feisty nature, and zest for life will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sylvia Marie Inboden leaves behind countless cherished memories as she joins her beloved late husband, Larry Inboden, in eternal rest. She will be deeply missed by her loving family, including her children, grandchildren, and a wide circle of friends.
Sylvia is survived by daughters, Ellen Menning and husband, John, Joan Spiner and husband, Ywaine, Janet Fisher and husband, Gerry, and Nikki Weber; sons, Joseph Froehlich and wife, Amy, Ron Weber and wife, Atoosa, and Scott Weber and wife, Jess; stepchildren, Pam Richards, Eric Inboden, and Brian Inboden; grandchildren, Meghan, Sarah, Austin, Taylor, Hailey, Hannah, Matthew, and Charlotte; great-grandchildren, Connor, Preston, Madalynn, Kinsley, Carter, Amelia, and Evie; sister, Lois Lange; brothers, Glenn Bridges and Raymond Bridges, and a host of other loving family members and cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Inboden; stepchild, Don Inboden; parents, Robert and Augusta Bridges; stepmother, Marjorie Bridges; and brother, Stanley Bridges.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00, Friday, December 15, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
