Shirley Parker, June 23, 2020 Jenkins Family- I am so sorry to find out about Susie's death and previous condition. It was my intention to be at the viewing today but forgot to check the time until a few minutes ago. Tijuana and I spoke on the phone and she let me know about Susie's health situation and all of the hard times that the family has had to live through for the last several years. My sister Helen lives in Florida and I was supposed to carry the family flag today for both of us. God bless you and help you get through this grieving process. John Madden, June 23, 2020 I knew Susie from her teaching days at Jane Long Elementary in Abilene. She was a great teacher and always had a sweet smile on her face. So sorry for your loss. Lisa and David Wenzel, June 22, 2020 Sweet Susie is now with our Lord and Father, Jesus Christ in Heaven....Hallelujah!!! Her beautiful smile and sweet spirit will be missed by so many people, but her love for her family and their love for her will always remain. I love you Susie and know that you will always have a special place in my heart, the mother of one of my dearest friends, you raised a beautiful daughter inside and out. Your legacy will continue with your family, as your example of love and loving the Lord continues, throughout the generations. Bless you! Lisa Martin, June 22, 2020 Jesus welcomed the most precious woman into heaven. She was truly a blessing to anyone she met. She touched my life with her smile, her laugh, her love of all sweet things (cookies, cakes, pies) and her quick quips. Her legacy lives on with Karen and her sons. She not only taught and touched so many kids throughout her years but she taught her family how to love and be a blessing to others. I’m so sorry for the family’s loss but I know they find comfort that she’s with Jesus right now, singing and laughing with Him. Proverbs 31:25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. Carol Shipley , June 22, 2020
