Susan Ellen (Burkhardt) Conte, age 70, of Savannah, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018. She was born March 18, 1948, in Hackensack, New Jersey, to Victoria (Jeblecki) and William Burkhardt. Susan married the love of her life, Dennis Conte, in Washington Township, New Jersey, on June 27, 1970, and they had two wonderful children.
Susan leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Dennis; her daughter, Michele Dykes and her husband, Christopher, of Little Elm, Texas; her son, Michael Conte of Austin, Texas; and her precious granddaughter, Reagan Dykes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victoria and William Burkhardt.
Susan was passionate about golden retrievers and the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, where there is an account set up in her name: account number 11485587.

A Funeral Mass will be held in the Chapel at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, Texas, on Friday, January 11, 2018, at 11:00 a.m.
