Sue Kathryn (Files) Rains of Grand Praire, Texas passed away on December 13, 2020 at the age of 94. She was born on August 15, 1926 to R.M. Files and Edith (Campbell) Files in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She married Jim Bunyard on March 17, 1963 in Buffalo Gap, Texas. She married Bernard Rains on November 27, 1986 in Denton, Texas. She married Curtis Glen Innerarity on May 17, 2001. She worked for Collins Radio as a technician and Rockwell International. She was of Presbyterian faith.
Sue is survived by her sons, Richard Shaw and wife, Cheryl of Mabank, Texas, David Shaw and wife, Cindy of Waxahachie, Texas and Mike Shaw and wife, Charlotte of Lewisville, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Jeff Shaw, Chris Shaw, Marc Shaw, Britney Shaw Miller, Jennifer Shaw Hensley, Ashley Shaw Slaughter; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.M. and Edith Files; first husband, Jim Bunyard; second husband, Bernard Rains; third husband, Curtis Glen Innerarity; sister, Jerry Lee Leath; and her aunt, Mabel Hallmark.
In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Sue’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: Celebrationoflife.tv. https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/sue-kathryn-rains . After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.
However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Sue and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
