Stuart Elwin Bonney

Stuart Elwin Bonney, 87, of Richardson, Texas passed away June 20, 2021. Stuart was born in South Boardman, Michigan and proudly served in the United States Army, attended the United States Coast Guard Academy, and had a successful career as a technical writer for Rockwell International. Stuart enjoyed traveling, sailing, was an active ham radio operator, and an avid photographer.

Stuart is survived by his children, Brian Bonney and wife, Kathy of Plano, Texas, Jean Smith of Richardson, Texas; Kenneth Bonney of Richardson, Texas, and James Bonney and wife, Amy of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Phillip Smith and wife, Krystal, Grant Bonney, and Matthew Bonney; siblings, Sue Barrett, David Bonney, Steven Bonney, and Jon Bonney; his beloved companion of 16 years, June Morgan of Greenville, Texas; her children, and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jacquelyn (Cross) Bonney, second wife, Ardene (Lampel) Bonney; and eldest son, Keith Alan Bonney.

Stuart was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother and a loyal friend. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.

A memorial service to be officiated by Reverend Neill Morgan and held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral home in Allen, Texas. The service will also be live-streamed at https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/stuart-elwin-bonney. A recording of the service will be available for viewing at the same link location.
