Steven Phillip Ganz, born on January 24, 1961, in West Covina, California, passed onto Heaven on July 7, 2026. He was a loving husband to Eva Ganz for 42 incredible years and a devoted father to Christina Franklin, along with her husband Troy Franklin, and son Matthew Ganz. His family expanded to include his cherished grandchildren: Arabella, Weston, Sophie, Macie, and Lincoln.
Steven dedicated 33 years of his life to the automotive industry, starting his journey at Toyota in Parts, Service and working his way up to the Director of Parts & Service. He loved his work and approached every task with dedication and enthusiasm, never hesitating to lend a hand to a colleague in need.
His greatest love and passion was his Faith in God Almighty. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Steven quickly learned of his deep love for God's Word and how he leaned on his faith throughout life's challenges. His strength showed through many heart-wrenching trials, yet he never cursed God; rather, he shared his faith with anyone who would listen. He had a unique ability to inspire others with his journey, including introducing his mother to Christ, a moment that was profoundly impactful for both him and his family.
Steven's warmth, humor, and faithfulness will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Family and friends will gather to honor his memory and celebrate his life, drawing strength from the love and faith he so passionately shared.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2026, at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Dr., Frisco, Texas, 75033.
