Steven Frederick Housley of Corsicana, Texas passed away January 9, 2019 at the age of 51. He was born on October 16, 1967 to Frank Chapman Housley, Jr. and Alice Fay (Chapman) Housley in Dallas, Georgia. Steven married Erika Berenice Rodriguez on January 9, 2009 in Dallas, Texas. He was a master electrician who was well known in his community. Steven served as a mentor to many young electricians. He was very proud of opening his own contracting business. Steven was an active member of Christ Fellowship Church in McKinney, Texas where he was a former resident. He also was an active member of Grace Community in Corsicana.
Steven is survived by his beloved wife, Erika Housley of Corsicana, Texas; son, Tyler Housley and wife, Meghann of Corinth, Texas; daughter, Haley Housley of Corsicana, Texas; step-daughter, Kellie Wadley; sister, Deanna Wood; brothers, Frank Housley, Peter Housley, Andrew Housley, Joseph Alexander, and David Chapman; step-mother, Jean Housley; mother-in-law, Rafaela Rebollar; his beloved dogs, Heidi, Thunder, Coal, Diamond and Little Dude; cats, Baxter and Timmy; and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice Housley; and brother, Michael Housley.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
