Steven "Steve" Bell

April 13, 1956 - August 4, 2015

Steven “Steve” Lynn Bell, age 59, of Frisco, Texas, passed away August 4, 2015.  Steve was born April 13, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Kenneth Allan and Leona Jean (Hansmeier) Bell.  He married Marka Potts on March 21, 1992, in Claremont, California.  Steve grew up in Plano, Texas, where he graduated from Plano High School in 1973.  He started his career in the automotive sales industry working for Carl Westcott.  Steve worked his way into management and became very successful in the automotive industry. In 1989, he moved to California. He managed and owned many successful businesses. He moved back to Texas in 2004 to be closer to his parents and retired in 2012.  Steve enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Marka Bell of Frisco, Texas; mother, Leona Bell of Plano, Texas; children, Jennifer Lynn Lovell and husband, Johnny Brown of Fate, Texas, Jessica Lynn Zamorano and husband, Richard of Whittier, California, Crystal Lynn Newton and husband, Steve of Pomona, California, Leslie Lynn Travesi and husband, Casio of Little Elm, Texas, Steven Lynn Bell, Jr. and fiancée, Aaron Koehne of Dallas, Texas, and Tobin Lynn Bell of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Christian Zamorano, Ian Lovell, Kylee Lynn Lovell, Kasen Rafael Travesi, Randi Lynn Newton, Logan Alexander Travesi, and two additional grandchildren on the way; brother, Kenneth Allan Bell, Jr. and wife, Anne of Wylie, Texas; and sister, Kathy Bridges and husband, Gary of Frisco, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.  The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.
