Steve Vance Tullos

Steve Vance Tullos of McKinney, Texas passed away December 8, 2020 at the age of 65. He was born June 30, 1955 to William Harold Tullos and Bobbye Nell Vance in Forest, Mississippi. Steve grew up in Mississippi, moving to Texas while in high school. He graduated from Keller High School in Keller, Texas. Steve married Debbie (Stone) Tullos on December 20, 1975 in Farmers Branch, Texas. He worked at John Deere for 37 years retiring in 2015 to be a stay at home dad to his “Little One” Hailey. Steve loved spending time with his family and Sunday School friends. He was a man of strong faith who shared his love for God and the Bible with others thru acts of kindness and support.  So many times, he would reach out to other Cancer fighters to share his love of Jesus Christ and the promise of a place where this awful disease would no longer exist.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie Tullos; children, Kevin Michael Tullos and wife, Amy Tullos, Kristina Joyce Tullos, Kayla Renee Tullos and Hailey Olivia Tullos all of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Caroline Grace Tullos and Emily Kate Tullos; his father-in-law Carl Stone of Trenton, Texas; brothers, Harold David Tullos of Dallas, Texas and Carl Stone, Jr. of Trenton, Texas; sisters, Maria Jane McClain of Flower Mound, Texas, Sue Helen Borgeson of Tyler, Texas; Sheryl Wyatt of Van Alstyne, Texas; brother in law Phil Wyatt and many nieces and nephews.  Steve is survived by his church family and his faithful Sunday School Class lead by Marcus Smith.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bobbye Tullos; his Mom, Joyce Stone; his brother, Bryan Kevin Stone and his nephew Jace Stone; all of which were there to guide him to the waiting arms of Christ.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. It will be a come and go visitation. A limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
