Anyone who knew Steve knew he loved college football especially his beloved LSU Tigers. There wasn’t a weekend that went by during football season that you wouldn’t find him in front of a television watching them play, cheering them on and seriously yelling at the referees. He was a workaholic who loved his customers. He was always trying to make the best deal, come up with the best pricing for all of his customers. This made him a favorite in his industry. If he wasn’t at work and wasn’t watching the game you could find him on the golf course. Golf was his favorite past time. He loved the game. Any free time he had he would make time to hit the course. And if he wasn’t at work, watching football or playing golf he was spending time with his family and friends. If he wasn’t able to go see his family he made sure to call and talk to them regularly. Family was important to him. He made time for family. He made time to let them know he loved them. Steve was the person who made everyone in the room smile. His good hearted nature and never ending conversations made everyone feel special. His life impacted many people and he will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Steve was an avid supporter of the foundation.
