Stephen Ray Edwards, Jr., of Terrell, Texas, passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 44.
Stephen was born on August 17, 1981, in McKinney, Texas. He and his parents, Stephen R. Edwards and Tracy L. (Euler) Edwards, resided in The Colony, where he graduated from The Colony High School with the Class of 1998.
Stephen was a dedicated business owner, proudly operating Pillar To Post Home Inspections. He was deeply involved in his community, serving as a member of the Terrell Chamber of Commerce and as a board member for the Terrell Volunteer Fire Department. Stephen was known for his strong work ethic, commitment to service, and the relationships he built through both his business and community involvement.
He is survived by his parents, Stephen R. Edwards and Tracy L. Edwards of The Colony, Texas; his son, Alden David Edwards of Commerce, Texas; his grandmothers, Paula Lodge of Ozawkie, Kansas, and Eva Euler of Kerrville, Texas; his sisters, Randi Edwards of The Colony, Texas, and Samantha Edwards of Richardson, Texas; his niece, Kennedy Niebrand of The Colony, Texas; his uncle, Charles Edwards of Burleson, Texas; and his significant other, Christina Gamel of Terrell, Texas, along with her children, Breanna Castaneda and Kalib Castaneda.
Stephen will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his community, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him.
A service will be held at DFW National Cemetery at 10:00 AM on May 15, 2026.
