Mr. Stephen Lawrence Juneau, age 82, of McKinney, Texas passed away June 20, 2006 in McKinney, Texas. He was born March 15, 1924, in Cottonport, Louisiana to Clabert Ilvert Juneau and Irma Jeanne Ducote Juneau. Mr. Juneau was a teacher in New Orleans until he retired. Since retirement, he volunteered at WYES in New Orleans. He is survived by his sister Dolores Elizabeth Juneau; two nephews: Ron Rivera of Boston and Wayne Landry of New Orleans; five nieces: Jeanne Broussard of LaPorte, TX, Lillian Hughes of McKinney, TX, Katherine Brasher of Katy, TX, Margaret Teague and Elizabeth McKinley; two great nieces: Daphne Harvey of New York State and Heather Cowan of Rockwall, TX; one great nephew, Shawn Halpin of Dallas and two great, great nieces: Riley and Megan Cowan of Rockwall, TX. He is preceded in death by his siblings: Victorine Hazel Juneau Plauche of Cottonport, LA, Norma Cecilia Juneau Scallan of Beaumont, TX, Anna Rita Juneau of Cottonport, LA, Gussie Katherine Juneau Landry of New Orleans, and Edgar Clabert Juneau of New Orleans.
