Stephen “Steve” Frank Brooks, age 67, of Hideaway, Texas, passed away suddenly on October 30, 2023. He was born on October 4, 1956, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Frankaleen “Frankie” and Larry Brooks.
Steve graduated from North Garland High School in 1975 and from Texas A&M University in 1979. Most of his professional career was spent working for semi-conductor companies. He traveled extensively through Asia and Europe.
Steve lost his wife, Sharon, in December 2022. He is survived by his two daughters, Michelle and Sheridan of Dallas area; his parents, Larry and Frankie Brooks of Celina, Texas; the children and wife of his deceased brother, Lowell, Samantha and her husband, Donald, their two children, Savanna and Sadie Been of Buda, Texas; his nephew, Ethan Brooks of Plano, Texas; his niece, Addie Brooks of Kyle, Texas; and his sister-in-law, Carol Ann Brooks of Kyle, Texas
Steve enjoyed traveling, hunting, and skeet shooting. He really enjoyed hunting with his Dad and cousin, Scott Walton and his nephew, Joe Walton., He also enjoyed an amazing doe hunt in Mexico with his Dad several years ago.
A Memorial Service will be held at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Saturday, November 18, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM.
