Stephanie Lynn McMahon passed away on March 22, 2020 in Plano, Texas after battling cancer for many years.
She was born on March 25, 1965 to Tadashi and Nettie (Thompson) Goto in Lynnwood, California. She grew up in Downey, California and earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California where she met her husband, Scott. They were married September 19, 1992 in Southern California.
Stephanie had a very successful career working on design of computer chips, first at TRW in Southern California and later at Cyrix in Texas where she and her husband relocated in 1993.
Stephanie retired from engineering in 1999 to devote all of her energy to raising her two children, Collin and Kira. She loved playing music, especially the piano and instilled this love in both of her children. She was heavily involved in her kid’s activities and education, volunteering as room mom, PTA, Orchestra Boosters, Taekwondo Demo Team, the DAAYO Board of Directors and much more. Stephanie also loved taking Disney vacations with her family and friends, her dogs and playing Pokemon Go!
She is survived by her husband, Scott McMahon of Plano, Texas; children, Collin and Kira McMahon; sister, Viki Goto of San Gabriel, California; and many other loving family and friends.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Tadashi and Nettie Goto.
A remembrance gathering and internment will be held at a later date.
