Stephanie Michelle Holley, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 58. Born on February 21, 1966, to Larry Efton Ingram and Rebecca Cornelia (Collins) Ingram, Stephanie was raised in a home grounded in strong Christian faith, a value instilled in her from the very beginning of her life.
She graduated from McKinney High School in 1984, where she quickly earned a reputation for her infectious enthusiasm. Her passion for learning led her to pursue higher education, earning her Bachelor’s from Texas Women’s University and Master’s from Hardin-Simmons University.
On March 1, 1995, Stephanie married the love of her life Johnny “Dean” Holley. Together, they raised wonderful children, filling their home with laughter, love and joy. Stephanie was a woman of many passions. An avid reader and gardener, she loved shopping and dining. More than anything, however, she treasured spending time with family.
Stephanie dedicated her professional life to education, and after a fulfilling career, she retired from the University of North Texas at Dallas in June 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of positive impact, having touched countless lives through her work.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Johnny “Dean” Holley; sons, Johnny Holley Bollin (Melissa) of Cleveland, Ohio, Maceo Bollin of Dallas, Texas, Darius Holley (Morgan) of Longview, Texas and Bryson Holley (Rylee) of McKinney, Texas; her beloved mother, Rebecca Ingram of McKinney; six grandchildren; brothers, Christopher (Rhonda) of Pryor Creek, Oklahoma, and Jonathan Ingram-Scorsby (Tyler) of Mansfield, Texas; and sister, Anna Wallace (Wes) of Melissa, Texas. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, colleagues, and a special friend, JoAnn Chaplin, who will forever cherish her memory.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Larry Efton Ingram and sister, Kimberly Ingram.
The family will receive guests during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church, 1015 Sam Rayburn Tollway, Allen, Texas. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Pecan Grove Cemetery, 1701 McDonald, McKinney, Texas, 75069 for a committal service.
Stephanie will forever be remembered for her love, grace and devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
