Stafford Hunter of McKinney, Texas passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 45. He was born on August 30, 1977, to Ransdell Edmond Hunter and Nancy Elizabeth (Mitchell) Hunter in Alexandria, Louisiana. Stafford married Heather Marie (McClain) Hunter on November 23, 2013 in Rockwall, Texas. He attended school at LSU where he received his Bachelors in Psychology.
Stafford was an avid football fan dedicated to LSU and the New Orleans Saints. His favorite pastimes included watching football and cooking (and eating), especially Cajun food that he shared with his family, fraternity brothers and friends. He enjoyed cheering on Jace as Quarterback of his flag football team and cheering on Lillian at her Gymnastics showcases. Stafford was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Heather Hunter; children, Jace Hunter and Lillian Hunter, all of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Nancy Woodworth and husband Derek of McKinney, Texas and Annie Vieira and husband Jason of Charleston, South Carolina; Nephews, Hunter Woodworth and Bennett Woodworth, and several other loving relatives.
Stafford was preceded in death by his father, Randy Hunter; mother, Missy Brodtman; grandparents, Bernard “Toppy” and Nadine Hunter and James and Nan Mitchell.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., Friday morning at the funeral home.
