Siu Chuen Leung

Siu Chuen Leung of Frisco, Texas passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 77. Siu Chuen was born to loving parents Chong Pak and Deng Yung Tai in China on July 31, 1947.

He married Sau Ying Ng on November 23, 1973 in Hong Kong and they would celebrate 51 years of marriage.

Their lives brought them from China to America where they pursued their dreams of raising a family and owning their own business. This journey took them to Virginia, Florida, and California. Eventually their perseverance had them settling in Texas where Siu Chuen and his wife became well-known members of their small-town community. They ran a successful family-owned restaurant for 20 years before retiring to Frisco, TX. After decades of hard work they enjoyed many years travelling the world together visiting New Zealand, Japan, China, Italy, Switzerland, England, France, Spain, Canada, Taiwan, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Siu Chuen had a love of cooking and was devoted to his family, especially his wife and grandchildren. Even in his later years he would cook large meals for his family and bring everyone together. He will be missed dearly.

Siu Chuen Leung is survived by his wife, Sau Ying Leung of Frisco, Texas; sons, Oi Lam Leung of Carrollton, Texas and Wai Lam Leung (Sara) of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Yee Man Leung of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Ansley, Lukas, Raylan, Alice, and Benjamin; brother, Mao Feng; and sister, Gum Seung.

Siu Chuen was preceded in death by his parents Chong Pak and Deng Yung Tai; brother, Wing Chun; and sisters, Gum Ping, Gum Feng, and Gum Ling.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at the following link:  https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/siu-chuen-leung.   Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.

The family will receive guests during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
