Silvano Mora, Jr. passed away on October 25, 2023, in Dallas, Texas at the age of 44. He was born to Silvano and Severa (Aguirre) Mora on January 5, 1979, in Dallas, Texas.
Silvano, was highly admired and loved by his family and friends. He worked in the financial industry. He loved playing basketball and called himself “the king of the basketball court.” His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys, and his favorite Basketball team was the Mavericks. His favorite pass time was spending time with his children and celebrating with them all their birthdays and Holidays. He had a kind heart but was a brave warrior in life who stood up against adversity. His family will miss him dearly. He is of the Catholic faith and has been a member of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Dallas since 1997.
Silvano is survived by his children who were his pride and joy; mother, Severa Mora; sister, Virgilia Mora, brother, Aldegundo Mora, sister, Margarita Mora; sister, Guadalupe Mora; sister, Dominga Mora; sister, Marilu Mora; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Silvano Mora Sr, and brothers Juventino Mora and Silvano Mora I.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday November 2, 2023, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rosary Service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
