Shirley Frances (Young) Krevics a long time resident of Plano, Texas passed away on August 20, 2020 at the age of 84. She was born on July 29, 1936 to George Bryson Young and Zola May Young in Denison, Texas. Shirley was the youngest of 6 children and was the last to reunite with them. Shirley had 4 sisters Margaret, Marie, Joy, Betty and 1 brother Charles.
Shirley began her working at the Denison Harold, around the time when women were just beginning to become prominent in the workforce. Shirley married Andris Mario Krevics on October 7, 1961 in Penns Grove, New Jersey. She continued to embrace a career and evolving technology by becoming a keypunch operator at Texas Instruments in Dallas working the night shift. She was a home maker for many years, raising her 3 children. Later in life, she worked for Collin County from 1991- 2006 before retiring in from the Constable’s Office Precinct 3. She loved music, singing, playing the piano, and just having fun.
Shirley is survived by her Daughters: Dianna Fuentez of Leonard, Texas; and Carla Fuentez and husband Alfred of Van Alstyne, Texas; and Son, Eric Krevics and wife Tiffany of Oak Point, Texas. Shirley had 5 grandchildren: Candice, Cory, Catrina, Kaitlyn, and Colton with 3 great-grandchildren Tristan, Cash, and Raelynn.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andris Mario Krevics in 1990, both of her parents, and her other 5 siblings.
In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 24, 2020 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, and will also be live streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Shirley’s obituary page.
However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Shirley and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel 92.7 on the parking lot.
A “come and go” visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
