My heart was heavy when I learned of Shirley's departure for Heaven. I've known her and DL, Sheryl & Devin my whole life. We'd pass each other at Mitchell's Clinic where my mom was her nurse, or at Fishers during my brief employment there lol, or at the store, the old pawn shop location playing on eBay and some other times that were private matters but we laughed about them later in life. She was a hoot. Its easy to see where Sheryl & Devin got their "spark of life" from, God knows it wasn't from Durrie ha ha. To Sheryl, my buddy....In the words of the infamous nanny..."Chin Up". She is in you 100%! A friend of mine, Mark Lowry, once said something that I loved and I try to spread it during a time like this. He said "it's okay to mourn and miss our loved ones who leave us, but don't cry for them...SMILE & REJOICE for they've made it home! Cry for us because WE are still stuck here". I believe she is with Devin now and probably hollerin’ at him for something. My condolences and love to all the Caldwell and Webb families. Keep your faith and keep marching forward. Now I am going to “go jump in the lake”!!
Johnny Morrison, July 15, 2021 My dear Aunt Shirley, how amazing you were. Such a big light in my life and I loved you dearly. I will miss our phone calls and lunches. You always gave me such good advice and always loved me no matter what. You will be greatly missed, but you are in Heaven now, no more pain, no more suffering. You are at peace. I love you my dear aunt Shirley, rest peacefully, until we meet again. Heather Headley, July 9, 2021 I will always remember our fun times, laughs, and giggles while attending church events and many family gatherings through the years. I will miss you very much Ms.Shirley, but I know you are only away and we will be reunited in Heaven. There we will laugh together once again because there are NO more tears in Heaven. Love you Sister!!
