The loyal and faithful servant of Christ our Lord Shirley Ann (Harris) Caldwell entered the gates of heaven peacefully at her home in Princeton, Texas on July 3, 2021 at the age of 76 with her daughter by her side. She was born on January 29,1945 to Edsel B. Harris and Doris. W. (Gallups) Harris in McKinney, Texas. Shirley had an amazing spirit and was a loving mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend. She called Princeton her home since 1966 where she made life long memories and friends.

She graduated from McKinney High School in 1963 and worked as an assembler for Fisher Controls in McKinney where she retired in 1997. Shirley loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and socializing with friends at local cafes. She was very proud of her Christian faith and cherished her Bible studies. If she was upset at you and you were informed to, “Go jump in the lake” then you knew you were truly loved.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Webb and husband, Kevin of Farmersville, Texas; grandchildren, Allyson Webb of Ft. Worth, Texas, Aerial Webb of Kaufman, Texas, and Zachary Webb of Princeton, Texas; siblings, Don Harris and wife, Lona of McKinney, Texas, Oleta Harris of Canton, Texas, Barbara Jenkins of Tyler, Texas, Peggy Schlabs and husband, Carl of Princeton, Texas and Sandra Nelson and husband, Buddy of Robeline, Louisiana. She is also survived by the father of her children, Durrie Lee Caldwell of Princeton, Texas. And last but not least her loving pets, Buster and Luna.

She was preceded in death by her loving son, Devin Lee Caldwell; parents, Edsel and Doris Harris; in-laws, Leland and Juanita Caldwell; grandmother, Willie Joe Gallups; nephews, Billy Jenkins, Chad Green and Lucas Caldwell.

A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Pathway Church, 193 FM 547, Farmersville, Texas 75442. Interment will follow at the Historical Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, Texas.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
