Shirley Ann Paysinger, of McKinney, Texas passed away August 15, 2012 at the age of 74. She was born July 14, 1938, to Johnny Andrew and Mamie Estelle (Sanders) Smith. On July 14, 1973 Shirley married Clarence Lee Paysinger, in McKinney, Texas. She retired from the Collin County Sherriff’s Department in 1986; Shirley also owned Paysinger Tractor and Equipment with her late husband. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Clarence Butler and wife Sharon of McKinney, Iva Butler and Will Merrill of Canton, Georgia, Anzlette Petit and husband Michael of McKinney; grandchildren, Brad Butler and wife Marla of Van Alstyne, Blake Butler of McKinney, Colten Williams of McKinney, Conner Williams of Norfolk Virginia, Lucas Barnes of Camp Lejune, South Carolina, Emily Barnes of McKinney, and Faith Ann Barnes of McKinney; great-grandchildren, Jacob Butler of McKinney, Kevin Butler of McKinney and Harley Butler of Van Alstyne; sister, Katie Newman of Trenton, Texas, Barbara Gonzales of Little Rock, Arkansas, Betty Dorning of Huntsville, Alabama and Jo Ellen Smith of Huntsville, Alabama; brother, Howard Edward Smith of Huntsville, Alabama.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lee Paysinger; sons, William Earl Barnes and Rowdy Dale Barnes; granddaughter, Anzlette Marie Barnes; brothers, Jesse, Buddy and Rooster Smith; sister, Imogene Smith; and parents, Johnny and Estelle Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, on Monday evening, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
