Shidan Mojahed was born in Tehran Iran in 1967, born to a humble and loving family, son to Hassan Mojahed and Mehry Sokout, brother to Shiva Mojahed Ezadi.
Shidan passed away after fighting a short but hard battle on Wednesday June 1st. He was a man who impacted and touched so many around him and made a point to make everyone feel loved. He was always lighting up any room he stepped into and helping any and every one in any way he could. He was a persistent and incredibly intelligent man who could do absolutely anything he put his mind to except for touching his toes. His only obstacle was his stomach.
He married Katayoun Dadgaran in 2000 and shortly after had his first and only daughter Elika Chloe Mojahed who carries many of the same admirable traits that he did. Except his daughter could almost touch her toes.
Shidan loved his family more than anything and was always there for his sister, nieces, mother, father and even extended family and friends till the very end. He put everyone first in the best possible way. He was always everyone’s first call when they needed anything fixed as he was the handiest man we knew.
He was the most talkative and funny person in the room no matter what the circumstance. He always made everyone around him smile even at the worst of times. He also would have wanted to make a point that till the end had one hair on the top of his head. He cherished that one hair dearly.
Shidan had many talents including but not limited to taking things apart and fixing them, learning languages and new skills and above all brilliant time management. He always made sure there was a tornado warning, hail or thunderstorms when doing outdoor repairs or barbecues.
He had a fond love of planes from a young age, as he grew older his favorite pastime when he was free was watching flight videos or other plane related videos. He often took his daughter and nieces to watch the planes take off and land, he even took his wife to watch the planes for their first official date. His biggest dream was to learn to fly a plane, we like to think that that’s what’s he’s doing up above us as he was so deserving of having all his dreams come true.
Shidan Mojahed as colorful as a man he was like many of you, detested funerals. He would have truly wanted everyone to know he’s happy and at peace now. He would want us all to celebrate fond memories of him and in your moments of missing him remember a time he made you smile. During this sad time the family has asked everyone to wear a Color that reminds them of Shidan to celebrate his life and honor him and his legacy at his funeral. He is grateful even from above for each and every one who has thought of him and his family and had a great deal of love for all.
Shidan will never be forgotten, will be dearly missed and forever loved.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2022 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North in Allen, Texas.
