Sheryl White (Terry) Harbaugh of Dallas, Texas passed away on February 14, 2020 at the age of 71. She was born on August 5, 1948 to H. D. Terry and Dotty Mae (Music) Terry in Abilene, Texas. Sheryl graduated from McAllen High School in McAllen, Texas, where she was a cheerleader. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, Texas for 3 years and graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas with her bachelor’s degree. Sheryl got a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She was an elementary school teacher in Dallas, Abilene, Plano and the last school where she taught was Lovejoy Elementary School in Allen, Texas. Sheryl married Stephen Harbaugh on December 28, 1973 in Richardson, Texas. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Richardson, Texas and the Junior League of Plano and Dallas.
Sheryl is survived by her husband, Steve Harbaugh of Dallas, Texas; sister, Helen Truelson of Grapevine, Texas; step-mother, Peggy Terry of Grapevine, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, H. D. and Dotty Terry.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2020 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
