Sheryl Ann Townes, a resident of Dallas, Texas joined her heavenly father peacefully on June 18, 2019 at 8:07 a.m. at Medical City of Plano in Plano, Texas at the age of 63. She was born on December 6, 1955 to Charles and Polly Church in Enid, Oklahoma. Sheryl Ann was a graduate of J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas and Collin County Community College. She married Danny Allen Townes on March 22, 1980 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Richardson, Texas. Sheryl Ann enjoyed gardening, teaching children, baking and most of all, her family. She loved her Lord and savior Jesus Christ; was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church of Garland in Garland, Texas.
Sheryl Ann is survived by her husband, Danny Allen Townes; daughter, Stefanie Findley and husband, John; son, Caleb Townes and wife, Sammy; mother, Polly Church; brother, Clay Church and wife, Becky; and numerous aunts, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
