Sharon Kay Roddy joined her heavenly family on November 22, 2021 at the age of 77.

She was born on July 13, 1944 to Delbert George and Frances Rebecca (Purves) Boyer in Dallas, Texas.

She was a very talented artist who loved to paint, draw, crochet, knit, sew, dance, cook, sing, garden, make jewelry, and tell stories (especially to her grandchildren).

Sharon was a longtime member of the Red Hat Society and a participant in the Mrs. Senior Texas Pageant.

Sharon is survived by: daughter, Stacey Bennett and husband, Mac Bennett of Mansfield, Texas; daughter, Carrie Barlow and husband, Jonathan Barlow of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Jamie Roddy and husband, Paul Lisle of Carrollton, Texas; daughter, Leslie Roddy of Frisco, Texas; son, Joey Theriot and wife, Emily Theriot of Fairborn, Ohio; grandchildren, Macey and James Bennett, Nathaniel and William Barlow, Roddy Lisle, Ashtyn and Erin Roddy, and Sydney Theriot; brother, Delbert George Boyer, Jr.; nephew, Erik Boyer; and niece, Jackie Boyer.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, James Edward Roddy.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.
