Sharon James (Ducharme) Richard, age 75, of Little Elm, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 18, 2020 surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Taunton, Massachusetts on February 20, 1945 to Ann Barbara (Parker) and Wilfred E. Ducharme, Sr.
Sharon was a graduate of Fitchburg High School with the class of 1963. She was employed as a unit secretary in the radiology department of Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Massachusetts for many years before retiring in 2009. After retiring she moved to Little Elm, Texas to be with her son and new grand baby Dakota.
Sharon enjoyed going for walks, doing crafts, baking and gardening. The time Sharon loved and cherished the most was spending time with family, grandchildren and friends.
Sharon is survived by her son, Daniel M. Richard and his wife, Mary April (Sangalang) Richard of Little Elm, Texas; grandchildren, Dakota Marie Richard and Austin Cade Richard; sister, Helen Farrah; brother, Wilfred E. Ducharme, Jr. of Gardner, Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Barbara Foster of Lake City, Michigan and her parents, Ann Barbara and Wilfred Ducharme, Sr.
Inurnment will be held at St. Bernard’s Cemetery at a later date.
