Sharon M. Quintal of Celina, Texas, passed away June 25, 2025. Sharon was born in Celina, to Bill and Dorothy Mahan. She was a graduate of Celina High School. Sharon graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She married Richard Quintal in Dallas, Texas, in 1979.
She loved animals and was involved with numerous animal rescues. Sharon and Richard are long time members of The American Quarter Horse Association. She also had a green thumb and could grow anything.
Sharon was a professional singer and enjoyed singing at special functions, parties, performing in her home, and numerous other events. Her music can be found on YouTube.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Quintal of Celina, Texas; son, Kyle West of Dallas, Texas; and brother, Anthony Mahan and wife, Julie of Prosper, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 109 S. Oklahoma Dr., Celina, Texas, 75009.
